Hello, everyone. Welcome to the five minutes, a BM podcast today. I like to record a very quick Podcast. I was reading a book about effective change manager, so which to talk about change management, and they have a very interesting part of the book where to talk about Vision and Mission, and there is a lot of misunderstanding on what is Mission

Speaker 0 (50s): Just so Mission is why you as an organization exist.so. Do you exist to fulfill what need, why do you exist today? But what is the vision? The vision is the outline of what organization wants to be in the future. The Mission is what you do now, the reason for you to exist. But the vision is how do you want to be in 2025, in 2030, whatever.

And if you go to a project, it's exactly the same. What is the vision?

Speaker 0 (1m 33s): Project is how do you see the future when your project is over? And this could be part of your pros, a chart or your business case. So how, for example, let's do make one quick exercise. So your vision, my vision is that by the end of the project, all of our customers will be ABL in an autonomous way, in an independent way, access all their information about their relationship with our organization.

They're our bills and the things that were pay for them or whatever. So this is the Vision you have, then your project is to implement a customer service software. So this, the vision is for me, like, and don't like to say Splitly like that, but it's like imagine a blueprint. Okay. But imagine a consolidated blueprint. If you can close your eyes, open your eyes into data, project is over, or what do you expect to see there?

And the mission, the mission is why you organization exist. So the organization now exists to fulfill what kind of need. So it's very, very interesting. And it's so interesting. If you go to Wikipedia, I did some quick research. You can see this there, and I think it's
