Hello everybody welcome to the, for five minutes BM podcast today. I like to talk about the Workaround the two sides of the same coin in Y I want to talk about this because there is some misperceptions about the Workaround. And so people think that, Oh, look, you are not planning properly, but I like to start talking about the great things or the Workaround first. It's an creative answer, innovative for sure. In a different answer.

And when you use some decision making process without doing the proper planning or the proper study of the situation, and of course the bedside, this, that not everybody is used to work and to create some kind of innovative process. And of course the Workaround doesn't give the right value to the planning shall look to size up first, be creative, but second, be a planet in a structured way of working.

So it's very challenging and it's very important that we understand that we should not drive only to one side. For example, Brazilian mindset is very much aware of the Workaround. So we were raised it like this, so, okay. Let's be novelty in our decisions, but at the same time, does innovation increase your self awareness? The self confidence that we start saying, Oh good, Hey, I'm so good on improvisation that that will not be planning.

And this is a very bad side about our cultural aspect. So we never give the right value to play journey in order societies. It's the opposite. We give such a big Valley to planning that we would pretty much lock the creativity. We need to think that when we are applying this, we need to have a balance. And this, this is a very critical knowledge and a very critical aspect of the project manager is how we can balance be creative, innovative when the problems res, but also be planet.

For example, when we say is this Chinese company building a 30 floor building in little bit more than two weeks, everybody was scared. And the answer basically we saw on the, on prem, the project manager off this it's look with planet, just everything, and like truly agree, because if you are, you spent 15 days to build a 30 store building. If you need to have an extremely detailed planning to make sure that everything is on track, but in real life, not always can be controlled.

So we need to have this innovative approach. We need to give some room for creativity to think different. And theirs is basically root of the Workaround. So at the end, we need to understand that this is not the bad and this is not good. It's just different. And a good project manager can navigate eight into the story of extremely detailed and country planning and creativity, innovation, and this think different that the Workaround will bring to the table.
