The purpose of the event is to stimulate the development of the rail transport sector in Brazil, contributing to promoting technological development, the improvement of public policies, the training and technical development of professionals in the sector, the clarification of the population, the exchange of information and the dissemination of good practices, nationally and internationally.

The XV Brazilian Congress on Project Management and Leadership is an initiative for the national integration of PMI chapters in Brazil. Each year the event takes place in a different city, in order to encourage the participation of members from all over the country and integrate the Brazilian Chapters of PMI. In 2020, due to the fight against COVID-19, the event will be online, on May 28th and 29th.
