Building Effective Teams
Learn how to be an effective leader and how to motivate and gain team commitment to project development.
Go to:
The main success factor to have an effective team is leadership; it is useless to implement the best practices to have a cohesive team if the leadership is weak. Being an effective leader involves both natural leadership skills as well as lifelong skills.
Leadership and team are fundamental principles of those who seek to implement change and manage projects effectively. The PMBOK® Guide 7th Edition itself takes leadership and teams as basic principles.
The challenges and the responsibility to lead are significant. The team lead comprises people with different personalities, cultures, and aspirations who must live together during the project if they respect each other and create an environment of trust. Without an inspiring and motivating leader, the project's chances of success are drastically reduced.
In this course, the student will learn about the characteristics of a good leader and how to provide a pleasant environment for the project team to carry out their work without having obstacles during development.
