Hello everybody welcome to the five Minutes BM Podcast do they? I like to discuss with you one thing that PMI posted on its blog or a couple of months ago, and I was thinking about this, and then Today, I decided to record this podcast about Ken, the project manager, or become the new CEO the new leader of the organization. And of course, if we start talking me, we start to thinking about this. And of course we'll be starting thinking that the potential seels of the companies, our basically the traditional leadership positions in a new industry, in a company, for example, the director of finance director of sales, the prediction manager, the industrial engineer, and the people that take care of the production, people that take care of sales, the people that take care of finance, The our potential.

The New a CEO's have the company's. So let me think a little bit about this. A product manager management is a new professional. So the leader of the PMO and the project manager. They need to demonstrate some order values above and beyond project manager to go into this leadership path. And if we look to the CEO work, and if we look to the project manager work, imagine that the project is the company.

So we can see a lot of similarities in this skills that we need. We need someone that drive results for both. We need someone that thinks strategically to act a completion, the project, and to leave the company leadership. I can not even mention how important its does in both the, or the CEO, when, for the project manager, in understanding budget aspects under the stand, how we can transform money into better results, both of them.

So if we see this, we see a huge potential in the behavior of the project manager to become the new CEO. But that, of course, this is not easy because most of the companies are very much traditional, but now we see a lot of opportunities because people are just changing the companies or changing the same seals are becoming younger. And we've this project management understanding. So this open a bit for future progress around project management, your company is increasing its maturity, the project management, plus your work plus results.

Plus the dynamic of the marketplace can bring a lot of opportunities for people in the project management side, from the new CEO to become in a very high leadership position at the organization. So one thing that just struggles me is that don't think that you need to change your career to move forward and say, Oh, look, I'm a project manager. But if I want to assume a leadership position in my company, Dan, I need to stop doing project management and to start doing other think, otherwise, the people will not understand what I'm doing.

This is wrong. This is wrong there. Our plans of space for people, one to use project management as a leadership path, a path for leadership position. So think about this. I strongly suggest that you go to pmi.org website and look for this blog and to contribute and try to put your opinion on you. Don't need to agree with that, but I just want to raise this because maybe for most of you, you never thought about that.
