Ricardo and the Brightline Initiative team will conduct a workshop on Strategic Initiative Management. The summit will discuss the harnessing the power of emerging technology, how to stay agile and incubate innovation within a large corporation, leading the charge for sustainability while ensuring profitability, communicating and implementing a strategic vision that employees support.

Ricardo Vargas will represent Brightline at the MIT SDM Symposium 2018: Characterizing the GAP. It is the first academic conference supported by Brightline in partnership with MIT.

Ricardo will deliver a workshop on behalf of Brightline Initiative at Collision 2018 covering the connection between Strategy Design and Delivery. Collision is “America’s fastest growing tech conference” created by the team behind Web Summit. In three years, Collision has grown to almost 20,000 attendees from 119 countries. Attendees include CEOs of both the world’s fastest growing startups and the world’s largest companies, alongside leading investors and media.

Ricardo will represent Brightline Initiative and deliver a workshop at TED2018 in Vancouver. Held annually on the West Coast of North America, the TED Conference is at the heart of TED. More than a thousand people attend this five-day conference about Technology, Entertainment and Design -- as well as science, business, the arts and the global issues facing our world. Over 70 speakers appear on the main stage to give 18-minute talks and shorter presentations, including music, performance and comedy.

In his first event in Brazil in 2018, Ricardo will deliver for the first time a new innovative workshop about Program Management called PMFits (www.pmfits.com). More details will be released soon. The PMO Summit, largest congress about PMO's in Latin America, bring together highly qualified professionals and PMO leaders for knowledge and experiences exchange.

Ricardo will present the PMOtto and machine learning applied to projects at the main conference about Microsoft Project in Russia, showing the use of chatbots and artificial intelligence to simplify the project activity and allows users to get information about any project and any task at any time.

Ricado will present PMOtto.ai and its features of using chatbot and artificial intelligence to improve project management experience.

Is your next strategic initiative doomed to fail? According to a Brightline Initiative's survey, conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU, 2017) with 500 senior executive leaders across the globe, only one in ten organizations successfully reach all of their strategic goals. On average, organizations fail to delivery 20 percent of their strategic projects. Ricardo Vargas, Executive Director of The Brightline Initiative, will share some insights and key findings of the research and discuss what Leaders are doing to successfully deliver their strategic objectives. Ricardo will draw connections between the research findings and the Brightline’s 10 Guiding Principles to help organizations close the expensive strategy-implementation gap.

Ricardo Vargas will kick off the research works of the University of Tokyo Global Teamwork Lab in their academic seminar with the keynote "Closing the Gap: Designing and Delivering a Strategy that Works".
