Ricardo (4s): Hello, everyone. Welcome to the five minutes. Be on podcasts today. I received at a post from a friend that I don't know if I became really scared or if it was one of the funniest posts I have received this year. And it's explaining to me a new technique because this podcast, most of the time, I talk about different techniques of doing things on different ways of analyzing risks and managing soft skills, whatever. And this one, I will talk about the GO HORSE process in what is the cents and the pillar of the GO HORSE process is just in order to save time.

Ricardo (44s): And Today the liver do the work don't waste time planning. Don't look back. So avoid all things you do to waste yours. Okay. So just do it. And it's basically composted by 22 axioms. And of course this was the value mainly in the software development initiative. A but of course, I'm pretty sure we can apply this to absolutely all kinds of business. And the first one is, if you think its not good. Of course. So the first pillar of GO HORSE is that don't think dumpling just do the work.

Ricardo (1m 27s): The second one is GO HORSE is reactive. It means mistakes only is it exist when they are found out. So if there is a mistake and nobody discovered it, there is no mistake. The third one, it's a very interesting in innovative way. There is no deadline in GO HORSE deadlines are details. They are just pointless any relevant. The fourth one is GO HORSE <inaudible> it Minutes project management is pointless, a project manager or it's even more, what is the fundamental of this <inaudible> process?

Ricardo (2m 9s): Every one do what they want to do and that's it. So you don't control anything. Everybody does whatever they want. OK. And the final comment I want to make, of course I will not talk about the 22, but the final one that was super funny and very interesting is the right thing is always the way you understood. So if you're in doubt, you are right. So one example that they use on disease, for example, but if you're in doubt, if you, we have a Randy finished the work, the work is done. So why I'm doing this and why does is so funny because of course this was brought in a humor website, but it's so real.

Ricardo (2m 57s): I was reading and I could point a lot of examples in my mind have project managers. I know that they have only a badge have project managers, but they are experts in GO HORSE Process and several companies that I don't know how they operate because it's such a kales that it's unsustainable. It's absolutely unsustainable. So for me, when you see this kind of humor talking about project management or mostly any subject, they have a very sensitive component of reality.

Ricardo (3m 38s): So it's very common. For example, why is sad? This fourth item GO HORSE is an article in Y anarchy is very interesting if you will, to protect yourself because in the middle of the case, it's much harder. Do we dental and propose accountability? So by being an article, you or not necessarily in of course, most of the time you are damaging the product on the surface, but you are saving your skin, right? You were saving your skin. And many, many people think about that. And this goes to the sense. So of course all Process, some of them, they seem to be very bureaucratic, but what do we need to understand?

Ricardo (4m 22s): And what I try with more than 400 podcasts is that folks you need to think about the product and the service you need to produce. You need to think about what is the result I expect. And then you will tailor your approach to deliver that. But don't waste your time in very complex methodologies. And don't waste your time in the GO HORSE process that will just end up delivering nothing. Absolutely no Valley. And maybe it's a good Valley for you in New York, because you got one year more of job in this, but there's this ethically the right thing to do.

Ricardo (5m 5s): So it's something for all of us. The thing, because I know so many experts in GO HORSE process in one thing at the end of this article, they said to me, Oh, regardless, and there is an event stronger and faster Process it's called extreme GO HORSE. And I said, wow. So I need to record a next Podcast on extreme GO HORSE but I don't believe I need to do that because the extreme GO HORSE is that true? Absolutely.
